Maria – Stylist/Thermal Reconditioning Specialist Maria has a very devoted clientele, as this multi-talented former Oregonian is one of our busiest stylists. Her passion for perfect cuts, and creating beautiful pallets of hair color can be compared to none. Although creative, Maria strictly follows the guidelines when it comes to complicated chemical services such as straightening, perming and corrective coloring. Maria is our Thermal Reconditioning Specialist now with several years’ experience in the art of using the Japanese method of straightening hair. Maria’s own curly hair allows her to appreciate the challenges “Curlies” often time face when it comes to wearing their curly hair natural or maintaining a straighter style. Complimentary consultations are available with Maria at any time. |

Jillian - Stylist/Color Specialist With style and fashion so much a part of the New York trend, Jillian complements Detour with a fashion all her own. Jillian trained at a top salon in Long Island, her former home. Her soft and delicate approach to hair designing is what makes Jillian so unique and simply a pleasure to get to know. Her ability to color hair is second to none. Jillian teaches cutting classes regularly with Graham Webb Haircare and also works as an on-location stylist for most Graham Webb photo shoots. Her passion for the music scene inspires her to create vibrating colors, from soft classics to the latest stage trends. |

Jeff - Stylist/Colorist Jeff comes to us from New Jersey with 16 years experience as a top hairstylist. His East Coast charm and Jersey wit is fresh and alive. We hope he never loses it! His strong cultural background motivates Jeff to be the best he can be, always striving to be excellent doing what he loves. Jeff loves creating beautiful haircuts and exciting color on both men and women. Virtually the entire staff of Martini Ranch in Encinitas is proud to call Jeff their stylist. When Jeff left his last salon in New Jersey, he wondered if he would ever find another cool family of co-workers. Detour is now Jeff’s home away from home and we have become his new family. Detour just can't imagine ever being without Jeff. |

Ange – Stylist/Colorist Ange is a Midwest stylist who followed family members to California to get away from the cold Minneapolis winters. Her fashion sense, poise, personal self-confidence and high intelligence make for quick hands and great styles. She understands there is only one way and that is the right way when it comes to haircutting and coloring. She also likes to experiment, combining colors and styles to create unique one-of-a-kind looks for each client. Clients love Ange because she is able to squeeze in a haircut when there is limited time. Ange is the perfect stylist for the client who likes to get in and out on their lunch hour or who needs a last minute cut on their way home. |

Christina – Stylist/Colorist Christina is intuitive and very smart, a faithful young woman with strong personal values that translate into perfect haircuts and high-fashion color. Christina is a professional who takes an unusual amount of pride in each service with each customer. She maintains high standards, making sure her cuts are the latest trend for both men and women. She also prefers to keep her prices very affordable so that a more budget-minded client can enjoy the opportunity to experience both Detour and Christina on a regular basis. Christina’s talent and work far exceed her prices. |

Anatta – Colorist/ Stylist Customers adore Anatta. A little older and a bit more laid-back than the typical stylist, Anatta’s interesting life experiences give her a truly unique approach to haircutting and hair coloring. Becoming a hair stylist was a later-in-life career choice for Anatta. Along with that choice came an artistic talent that even she was surprised to see flourish. Now every day is fun and every customer is both an experience and an opportunity to enjoy hairdressing in all its complicated forms. As for her technical ability, she trained with the best in our industry and she sets her standards high |
